Depending on how large you choose to make your library of filters, this is a wonderful little feature that makes it a lot easier to keep track of what you already have. It also lets you know if you have already downloaded, or have the filter you are looking at. The current backup file of Filters weighs in at around 1.3 GB! There is a built in browser from which you can access, search, and view all of the filters available, allowing you to download only those you need or want.
You can download individual filters as you need/want them, but if you want to get everything currently available, or at least, usually, up to the last month or so, this additional purchase is very helpful. They also usually offer you a chance to purchase a download of the entire filter library for around $30. This is an excellent price for this program. They have recently been running a 75% off deal at their website, but that is suppose to be ending today.

If you work, in any capacity, with adding Textures and.or Effects to your photographs, I highly recommend you give this program, at minimum, a trial run. You can save your processed image as BMP JPEG TIFF TGA PNG OpenEXR and PFM. Each filter/Effect comes normally comes with presets, but you have access to all settings for each and every filter and can fine tune them as you wish. And users are constantly creating and uploading new ones all the time.
